Architect and PhD in Industrial Design e Multimedia Communication at Politecnico of Milan.
Currently she is Researcher in the Faculty of Design, Politecnico of Milan and she is also in charge of Biodesign Laboratory direction and scientific coordination.
In 2006 Post Doctoral Associate in the Dept of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Since 1996 she has been Assistant Professor and Lecturer of the Faculties of Engineering and Design, and she carries out research activities in biodesign, design applied to the innovation of the industrial product for the human body and bio-robotic systems at the Robotics Laboratory, Mechanical Department. She is also a tutor of several graduate thesis.
She is author of several International publications and three books.
Current research interests are in biodesign, sensors and technologies for e-textiles.
