Giuseppe Salvia currently collaborates with the department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering “Giulio Natta” at Politecnico di Milano for researches on materials for Design, focusing on both expressive-sensorial dimension and Biomimetic applications.

In 2007 he took the master’s degree in Design&Engineering with a research on biomimetic approaches and instruments for Design. The thesis was awarded with a mention at “Lucky Strike J. Designer Award Italia 2008″. He also designed the bookcase Nio Tita, awarded at “Young&Design 2008″.
